With great sadness I wish to inform you that Donald Broadribb has passed away on October 13 of this year.

Don was a Mellel user but, much more that, a great donator in spirit and in deeds: Don diligently and devotedly localised Mellel, and created, wrote and updated his wonderful guide for beginners. Don was always enthusiastic about his work - no matter how small the matter at hand (and Mellel was but a side hobby, of course) - an Esperantist through and through it was measured in deeds as he helped Mellel user enjoy an excellent localised version to Esperanto.

Although I did not meet Don face to face, Don's generous spirit and graciousness came through nevertheless. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

This is very sad news indeed and a huge loss for the Mellel community.

Sad, indeed. Don always was willing to help others and was a huge contributor here.

He was a very kind and helpful person. May he rest in peace.
