Dear forumists,
Could anyone point me to an explanation of what is involved in the "improved RTF import" in the new version. Does it just mean that Mellel now imports RTF more accurately, or is there something else involved?
Improved is good, but it'd be nice to know how. Is it documented somewhere in layman's language?

Re: Improved RTF import
Importing .rtf from Scrivener still makes formatting like italics vanish in some parts of the document (it does not flatten the whole text).
Pages, LibreOffice, Bean and probably most of the rest of word processors and rich text editors do keep these formattings.
So the improvement of .rtf import is not that significant. Import is the same as it has been for many, many years. Which is: not good at all. Sigh.
