3.2.7 and Recent

When I upgraded to Mellel this last week, I noticed that it cleared the Open Recent items. Is that planned? It seems counter-intuitive.

This is not intentional. The list is maintained by the system.

I have not noticed this problem with other programs during the upgrade to Mavericks.
