Many quotes and blank pages

Hello,
I'm completley new to Mellel and still trying to configure styles ecc.
My style for block quotes is not much different from my usual text style, only with a tab at the beginning.
For my work I have to first sample a lot of quotes and than write in between. Now, after some quotes I get blank pages where I cannot write anything, they are just "jumped". Does anybody know why this happens?
