delete a saved cross-reference format?

Post by austino » Sat Sep 06, 2014 4:14 pm

Hello,

Does anyone know if it is possible to delete saved cross-reference formats in the "Cross reference" dialog? It is easy to save new formats, but I can't find a way to delete ones that I have already saved.

Thanks

Hello,
I also want to know this. I had some trouble find out how the whole reference thing works. Now I want to get rid of all these old wrong formats…

I could not find a way to delete them from Mellel directly. However, you can delete them yourself manually by going into your ~/Library/Application Support/Mellel/Reference Formats directory. All of the reference formats are there. Just delete the file that corresponds to the one you want to delete.
