Unzipping failed

Dear all,

trying to open a .mellel file I encountered the following text in a pop-up window:

Das Dokument „xxx.mellel“ konnte nicht geöffnet werden. unzipping failed 1 (file mellel_temp_4.extension)

Any suggestions what to do to recover the document?

Hello,

I've already the same problem for 3 weeks.
I'm working with Mellel 3.3.7b5 and OSX 10.10.1.
The messages looks like this:

»Das Dokument "xyz.mellel"
konnte nicht geöffnet werden. unzipping failed 1 (file
mellel_temp_10.extension)«

Does anyone have a solution?

Mellel keeps an automatic backup of documents you work on. You may be able to recover the file from there
1. Choose Mellel->Preferences
2. Click on "Open & Save"
3. Click on "Open Backup folder"
4. Locate the file in the backup folder and copy it to your desktop
