Mellel: Working on IOS

Hi, I am new to Mellel. I have taken it up to work with Sente (which it does brilliantly well), on a Mac. However, I need the ability to edit my work on my iPad as well.
I understand that there is a Mellel IOS app in the works. If this is so, then do we know when this app is likely to be released?
In the mean time is there an IOS app for iPad that works well with Mellel on the desktop? One where I can switch back and forward seamlessly between one and the other.
