Crash in El Capitan When Using cmd+W
Mellel crashes whenever I have a window open to fullscreen and attempt to close it with cmd+w. Has anyone else experienced this? Furthermore, whenever I try to submit the crash report once it reopens, it just hangs and I don't think the crash report ever sends. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

This is a known issue with Mellel and El Capitan, it will be fixed in Mellel 3.4.4. This happens when you close a window while in full screen mode. You can work around this by going out of full screen mode before closing the document.
