Checking spelling - HEBREW

HI
My platform is Mac-Book-Pro, OS 10.9.5 and MELLEL 3.4.4b7
Since I upgraded my Mellel to 3.4.4b7 I lost the ability to check my Hebrew spelling.
I set the language to Hebrew as required.
EDIT > SPELLING > and all following various options yield nothing.
English spelling is OK.
