Mellel Registration fails

Hi,
I cannot register my copy of Mellel.
Each time I start the program I am urged to register.
Each time I click on "register" the answer is "Daten konnten nicht gesendet werden" (sth. like "data could not be sent").
Before anyone asks: I am online.
What's the problem?
