Table crash

Dear Mellel team,
whenever I work in a table, and have put citations in it, Mellel 3.5 crashes. Even simply working with the specific table with citations leads to crashes.
While I have only one table at the moment, so I do not know whether the problem is relative simply with the citations in the table or is a more general problem.
I use Bookends as bibliographic software, as I like the way Mellel and Bookends integrate.
