I have a bunch of old Mellel files (last opened in 2009), that I can't open with the current version of Mellel.

I get this error:

The document “Class Notes on Levi-Strauss.mellel” could not be opened. zipFolderFromTo failed error = 2, dest = /var/folders/vy/h1v06_l13q99708tx3bx34j00000gn/T/mellel_temp_0.extension, more = -

I can open other files from the same period, but they are not "zip package" files. Has anyone run into this problem? What can I do to fix it?

Are they files located on an external drive or a specific folder? Try moving them to another location and see that helps.
If not, please contact our support (and attache a sample file) and we'll probably be able to assist you with that.

The files are on my internal drive. I've moved them to the desktop, but they still don't open. I'll get in touch by the contact form.
