Questions about the Mellel XML format

Post by cyberbryce »

Hi,
Is this document that I found in the Internet Archive still valid for Mellel's format? It has disappeared from the Mellel web page.
"Mellel XML revision A"
I didn't find any reference to change tracking, so I'm assuming it's no longer valid. Is there a new version?
Also, does anyone have a copy or link to Stephen Still's mellel2html xslt tool?
Regards,
Bryce

Could this be an alternative tool if you do not find the Stephen Still's mellel2html xslt tool? http://www.net-artworks.de/articles/Mel ... structure/ or http://www.net-artworks.de/articles/dow ... ucture.dmg

Thanks macsailor, it's been a while since I used Mellel and I had forgotten that.
It looks like Mellel2HTML is based on "Mellel2HTMLstructure.xsl". Still's had a StyleOff mode that would remove in-text styling and so that may be most similar to the philosophy Hoffman applied in creating Mellel2HTMLstructure.xsl. I remember reading that the Still's xsl was much longer and generally preserved inline styling, so if I could get a hold of it, I could compare all three (the two modes of Still's tool and Mellel2HTML).
Thanks again,
Bryce
