I have a long document, consisting of two parts. The first part has a numbered Heading 1, like this:
1. Topic
2. Topic
3. Topic
…
15. Topic
I want the second part of the document to resume counting after the 15th topic, so the counting will start all over again, like this:
1. Topic
2. Topic
3. Topic
…
Is this possible? I tried to insert a Page style break after the first part of the document, but the new Heading 1 just goes on like this:
16. Topic
17. Topic
18. Topic
…
Then I tried to use a Tag Flow. That works for resetting the counting, but a Tag Flow is static and can't be dragged up and down in the Outline as a means of structuring the second part of the document, and that defeats entirely the purpose of a good outline.
Any ideas how I can solve this problem?
How to resume the counting of Level 1 heading?

Re: How to resume the counting of Level 1 heading?
Have you tried doing this with Title Flows in the Auto-Title area? One Title Flow to contain the two parts of the document, and a second title flow below that with numbered sections and the "Reset numbering with higher level flow" box checked.

I think that is a good solution. Thank you joseph_anton.
