Feature which remembers the location of the insertion point

Post by Icelander »

Is there a way to quickly track backward and forward to other locations in the document where I may have been working? I may, for example, want to jump to the last location of the insertion point, and then quickly back again when I have finished checking the text.

You may have seen such commands on the toolbar of some word processors as “Back” and “Forward” arrows; I find these commands extremely useful for quick navigation between different parts of the document, and they'll always take me safely back to the position where I left off, whereas now I often find it hard to find my old location again, if I didn't create a bookmark there before I started.

Am I missing something? Thanks.
