Bug in 4.1 - underlining / stroke through with certain fonts

Hello everyone,

After updating to the new version (4.1) today, strokes as part of the text (underlining and stroke through) appear in certain fonts in a very ugly thick manner, not only on screen, but also as printed text.
(Heavy problems with Hoefler [my favorite font] and others, no problems with Times or Arial.)

Do I miss something, new settings or the like ?

Thanks in advance,
JBQ

JBQ, I can't repeat your problem with Arial or Times or any of the fonts I generally use,
but I definitely see it with Hoefler text.

Maybe this is an old version of the font that needs upgrading. The version I have is from 2007.

Thanks, Janet - same here, the "usual suspects" are fine, but the somehow unusual suspects show this strange behaviour (Skia, and others).
It would be a pity if I have to abandon “Hoefler”. It was (or still is?) a font even to be found in some earlier iOS versions.
BTW, my font (/Library/Fonts) dates from 2017, i.e. System level and not that old.

So maybe the Redlers could give this a second look?

Thanks!
JBQ

By the way, JBQ, I think you will find that 2017 is when the font file was stored on your system, but, if you check the info page for Hoefler Text in FontBook, you will see that the font was last updated in 2007.
