Hi, everybody.
I have a problem whith the document I am writing. While I am editing it, in the screen it appears normally. But when I print it (or convert it in PDF) the text appears smaller than it should. The problem does not occur when I export the document to PDF, but, as I said, it does happen when I convert it into PDF using the print tool.
I attach two images, in order to clarify the problem. In the first one, you can see how the document should look (and how it does look while editing or if I export to PDF). The second one is how it actually look when I print it or convert it into PDF using the print tool.

Any idea about why this is happening and how to fix it?
Thank you very much in advance.

MonE, one thing that might cause this is annotations (comments)
-- if you select Export annotations [lower left of the Export to pdf window], and
-- if you have used annotations with this document but none currently appear on this page
then you will get exactly what you describe.

Hi Janet:
Thank you for you insights. I have no annotations in this document and, besides, the problem occurs when I print it. I have tried to export the document, selecting the "Export annotations" box, and the document is still right. But when I print it or convert it into PDF via the print tool, the strange appearance re-emerges.
I have copied all the content and pasted it in another document and the problem seems to have disappeared, but the whole thing seems odd.

Curiouser and curiouser
The only two places left where Mellel changes the look of printed out are in
-- File/Page Setup [make sure you have 100% selected] and
-- the Print/Mellel 4/Layout, but I don't know what you could do there to create the affect you describe.
Maybe try adding an annotation, deleting it and turning off annotation print.
I once hit the comment button by mistake, cancelled it, but since I didn't have View/Annotation pane selected, I didn't know that was something left behind.

Janet is right, of course. I know the problem well, but it can be difficult to get rid of. Try View (at the very top of the window) and see if Annotation Pane is engaged. If it is, turn it off and your problem disappears. If, at any time, you write a comment, the View Annotation Pane will be turned on and stay on, even if you delete the comment.
