Crashing at search in long text, memory leaking

Post by nalugu » Tue Nov 27, 2018 1:32 pm

Running Mellel 4.1.4v2 – wonderful, stable application. But since some days I get freezes / crashes when using the "find" functions in long documents. Only way to exit the freeze and continue work is force quit and restart. The auto backup saves most of the work, but some lines are lost sometimes. I can supply a screenshot of the memory leak that occurs while freezing (how do I attach an image here?). It mounts up to 8GB and more if I don't interrupt. CPU usage is up as well (98%). Is this a known issue?
