Tabs before margin guides?

I try to do a hanging subheading outside the text block:
R-tab-subhead. L-tab texttexttext
....................................texttexttext [text block margin set with lower diamond in paragraph dialog]
I cannot get a tab to the left of the diamonds in the paragraph style panel. Is there a trick to that? See below how it looks in QuarkXPress. I've done similar paragraph styles in InDesign as well.
