Am I missing something? The onscreen background colour is very useful for full screen mode - personally I find the retro green on black good for my eyes - but I can't find a way of changing text colour purely for screen purposes. I have to tweak 'character style' and then tweak it back for printing. Not a massive hassle, true, but since I bet most people use the different background colour option for full screen editing, wouldn't it make sense to have foreground/background colour set for full screen in Preferences?
I agree.
This is especially important when working in full-screen view. The default black and white is hard on the eyes.
I work in Mellel for hours at at time, having softer full screen colors, and softer editing-only colors would be wonderful.
Now, I set a different page color to help me.
