APA-Nature template

I downloaded this template and put NatureArticle.asup in Autotitles Setups, APA-Nature.sset in Style Sets and APANature.mtem in Templates/APA. After this then I start Mellel Character and Paragraph Style defaults to this new style. Why? Shouldn't it load first after I choose this template?
Does this template works good? I need a APA template, does a better exist for Mellel?
