Isn't there a way to get rid of all these spammers.

Way too much spam on these forums. I frequent this and Bookends forums and they seem to attract quite a fair bit of spam. This is especially worrying, as you need to type in a distorted image of text to sign up. Could spammers have image recognition software that is so advanced?

Indeed -- way too much. It's now a personal thing -- the spammers are actually registering and doing this personally.
