Maybe you have a different version of Mellel but I was never able to insert a Auto-Title element into a Table cell. Pasting a picture in one cell and some piece of text into another to achieve the desired look shouldn’t be a problem but as far as I know, this doesn’t work with Auto-Titles. Could you verify that again please?lbas wrote:You can also use an autotitle in each cell without experiencing a return. I have done the preceding.
For convenience, that thread is at the following URL: http://forum.redlers.com/viewtopic.php?t=677Normand wrote:Since this issue pop up again in this forum, may I bring to your attention that it has already been a well supported feature request. See in "The Nitty and the Gritty" : [ Poll ] [Feature request] Autotitle (autonumbers) in tables.
I'm afraid I can't manually number the equations, as there are about 60 equations in my document.Mart°n wrote:If you use Auto-Titles to number your equations, it’s currently not possible to have the number at the right border, as Auto-Titles always like to be the first element of a new line so nothing could stay to the left of them.
If there are only 3 (or so) equations in your book, you may consider to add the number manually. Maybe this changes in a later version of Mellel.
Unfortunately, at present Auto–Title objects must be the first item on a line. In an RTL paragraph the right margin is the beginning of the line, so that's the only way to have an Auto–Title remain on the right with more information on the rest of the line on the left.Normand wrote:Yes it is a problem. I can position the equation number at the right, but when I try to insert something (an equation) at the left of it, it jumps to the next line. Very weird!!!
