changing footnote font after import from Word

Hello,

I wonder how to do the following: after an import from Word (via RTF) change the font of all footnotes at once? Select all only selects one footnote at a time. I know Mellel works very different and i have not figured it out yet...

Have you tried File -> Replace Styles?

The usual way to change a font style is via the Character Menu; select Note Test and set the font you want.
