Problem importing Farsi sefr from .doc created in Zarnegar

I am importing Farsi .doc files made with Zarnegar, an Iranian program based on Word. When I import them using Mellel the numerals are changed to western numerals. That is a minor problem. The major problem is that the sefr (zero) charater is changed to ΓΆΓΆ2 and the sentence is broken and flipped around? Any suggestions?
