auto-title mentions in header: first, last

Post by fastmiso »

Hi,

I would like the ability to have a range (first, last) of mentions in the header of my document. That is, I'd like my header to have two mentions pointing to a single particular auto-title class (say, 'lemma'), but to the first and last *instance* of that class on the page. Like, e.g., the header of pretty much any lexicon/dictionary you can find:

[first-lemma-auto-title-on-page___________________page-num__________________last-lemma-auto-title-on-page]

I don't think this can be done in Mellel right now (or can it?), and wonder whether anyone else thinks it would be a useful addition. I can't find any previous discussion of it in the forum, though the search terms are a bit common.

Thanks!
