Show name only for citation?

Post by drleper »

Is there an operator to show only the author name in a citation (like the % to show only date)? At the moment I have to manually change certain citations after scanning (double clicking and changing "Formatted Citation"), but this is overwritten by the default (Name, Year) when I do a rescan. I am using Mellel + Bookends combo for report writing in APA style. When the same reference is cited twice in the same paragraph, subsequent references should only include the author name (or first author plus et al. if there are multiple).

This is a question for the Bookends forum, not here. Although Jon does read this forum from time to time.
