hi.
i was very excited about live bibliography at first, but i am finding it increasingly frustrating to use it. it takes at least 8 seconds (after selecting a reference) to insert a citation when live bibliography is turned on on my 2,6 GHz Quad-Core with 48 GB or RAM. Moving paragraphs around is equally slow. Deleting a single citation also brings up the rainbow wheel and interrupts my workflow. Mellel is totally sluggish -- more so than Word ever was for me -- when Live Bibliography is turned on.
Is there any chance that the performance will be improved in the future?

Re: live bibliography - too slow
I have exactly the same problem (with Sente in Mellel). Any time a citation is moved, added, pasted or deleted it takes 25 seconds. Live Bibliography is a nice feature, but it is impractical. I have 600 citations in the document now. It used to be fine and I am not sure what happened that made it so slow, but it would be great to see this fixed.
