Line Numbering

Is there a way to customize line numbers. I'd like to be able to type in my own line numbers. Particularly I'd like to add the "Stephanos numbers" to a Greek text of Plato. Is there any other ways to accomplish this goal?

I see no way to do what you wish. Maybe just ask the Redlers to implement it : )

Just thinking... you might try to emulate line numbering with "Lists". This way, you would have full control on what you want.
