Replacing paragraph styles with diamond prefixed

Post by harryhoffner »

I have several character or paragraph styles whose names appear in the listing in the palette with prefixed diamond. I would like to find where they occur in my long document and replace them globally with a different style. Is this possible in Mellel? I would like to avoid just scrolling through my long document until I find each occurrence and manually changing it.

thanks.

You are looking for the "Replace Styles" menu item, which is located under the "File" menu. Just make sure to select the "Paragraphs" tab (otherwise you will be replacing character styles).
