TOC doesn't appear in the PDF

Post by Icelander »

When I export a Mellel 4 document with a Table of Contents as PDF, the TOC doesn't appear in the PDF. Is this a known issue? I'm on Sierra 10.12.3.

I exported a document of 85 pages to pdf and also exported the same document through the built-in print-to-pdf feature, and both pdf files had the TOC intact. I'm using the latest version of Mellel and macOS 10.12.6 (Swedish).

The first time I tried, I only used the print dialog from the File menu > Print > Save as PDF. The result is still no TOC.

I somehow overlooked the Export command from the File menu, so I tried that now, and it works. Thanks Peter for drawing my attention to this Export command.

There used to be issues in macOS 10.12.3 regarding the PDF kit. It seems Apple has now fixed it in 10.12.6. I guess it's time for me to upgrade.

Thanks again, Peter.
