Hi all,
I don't find where I can define the size of the cells of a table (in cm or other measure) in the Table palette.
Thanks in advance for the answers.

You are correct, Robin, but there're two (somewhat messy) work-arounds
1. set the cel size manually using the rulers as a guide
2. use the paragraph and character attributes to control cell size.

Thanks for the answer !
I proceed the way you explain.
However, I am not absolutely certain of the quality of my eyesight to have cells with a similar size (and I won't use a physical ruler on my computer's screen
).
For minor works (I mainly use Mellel for exams mixing Hebrew and Latin alphabets, as this word processor is absolutely stable, compared with MS Word) it is okay.
But if I were to write a paper or a dissertation, I would need a better way to control the size of the cells of tables.
I presume that, as Mellel is in constant development, that type of function could be added to the program - a welcome improvement, IMO.

I've never actually felt the need to control the size of the cells per se -- I just let the character/paragraph attributes take control. On occasion I've used cell padding as well.
Frankly, I can't think of a usage that would require a specific cell size.
Text does are another story -- they can be tightly controlled.
