How to forbid Hyphenation for proper noun ?

Post by Gustave »

Hi !

How to forbid Hyphenation for proper noun ? or for small caps/caps words ?

I add them manually to the preferences, but it's very tedious. In French, one can not cut the proper names.

Thanks

A nice feature of one of my old favorite word processors was to add what they called a soft-hyphen (it used the tilde character ~). Used in the middle of a word it overrode the hyphenation dictionary as to the right breakpoint. Used at the front of a word it suppressed hyphenation for that word. (It was, of course, invisible.)
