The trial version of Mellel automatically adds a watermark when printing.

Could we please have the ability in the full version to add custom watermarks? For example, to output DRAFT over every page.

There's a wok-around for this which I often use:
-- prepare a file with your watermark
-- in the page palette select Background, image, and the file you prepared
-- choose the position and opacity that works best for you
