Feature Request: Paragraph Style Borders and Shading

I would like to have the option of adding borders and shading (background color) to a paragraph style.

I use these style options all the time for adding a hairline rule under a header with HTML/CSS and previously in Word. Likewise, a paragraph style with a border and light background is a great way to highlight something like a pull quote within the stream of your document.

Please note that the poll question should say "paragraph style" although this feature could also be applied to character style as well.

This would be a fantastic addition to Mellel. I am really missing this feature in my transition away from MS Word/OpenOffice.org to Mellel.
