Feaure Request "Actions on Find"

In the indexing thread, Maria wrote what I think is an awesome feature request...

being able to link in to any Mellel function, or "roll your own" workflow a la Automator/AppleScript or even call your own Automator action or AppleScript would be great.Finally, some time ago I suggested to implement "actions on Find", which means that one cannot only replace text/style with some other text/style but also can convert something found into footnotes, headers or something else. I would include an action "add to index" in order to automatise most part of the indexing work.
