I often mix Hebrew and English and have noticed that, at some point, TextEdit has added a nifty feature whereby the cursor splits when typing Hebrew amidst English to mark both the current left-to-right insertion point together with the right-to-left insertion point (I hope I'm making myself clear). It doesn't seem to work perfectly, but does attempt to address one issue I have with Mellel where switching to Hebrew in a predominantly English text leaves the cursor to the right of the Hebrew, not actually marking the current insertion point.
Would it be possible to achieve something similar to what TextEdit does in Mellel?

Re: Split Cursor
I would love to have this feature as well. Right now, if I type a Hebrew word with all the niqqudim, and after finishing notice one niqqud needs changing, I have no way with the present insertion point positioning to know how to correct the one error -- I have to delete the entire word and re-key it.
