Hi
Platform : MacBookPro (MBP) - OS 10.4 Mavericks, Mellel 3.3.5
My previous OS was Snow Leopard in which (and in earlier OSs) I have always found my automatically-saved Mellel backups at:
User>, Library>, ApplicationSupport>. Mellel>, Backup
I looked for Mellel backups in my recently acquired MBP, but I cannot proceed beyond USER.
There is no Library folder, no ApplicationSupport -- nada!
Where can I find my Mellel backup documents when under Mavericks ?
Thanks.
Abe

Re: Mellel backup documents -Mavericks
Starting with Lion (10.7) Apple hides the Library folder by default.
There are ways to make it visible again but you can see the Mellel backup folder by Choosing Mellel->Preferences, click the "Open & Save" tab and then click the button labeled "Open Backup Folder" in the "Automatic Backup" section.

Also, in the Finder, Option-clicking on the Go menu will show an option for Library.

For Eyal
Thank you so much -- It's there alright.
For Patrick
I could not find an option for LIBRARY there.

While in the Finder, if you click/select the “Go” menu item, then menu appears with a list of common folders (and their shortcut keys); Library is not in that list. However, if you hold down the “Option” key on your keyboard while that menu is displayed, a new item “Library” will appear between “Home” and “Computer”.abe-ariel@013.net wrote:For Patrick

Also, you can tell the Finder to manually open the folder by selecting “Go to Folder …” (Shift+Option+G), and typing ‘~/Library’, and the Finder will open a window containing your Library folder.

Abe, I always forgot how to do this too, so in Finder/Help I search for Library folder and find the item "What is the Library folder"
