Footnote Continuation Separator - longer line

Post by stefur »

the footnote continuation separator is used when a footnote is too long to fit on the page and must be continued on the following page. Usually, this is a longer line which signals readers that there is something different about these notes. In Mellel, all lines are the same length. Have I overlooked a possibility to get a longer line?
Thx, Stefan

This is a good question. I have noticed this as well and would also like a way to signal to the reader that the note is either continued from the previous page or that the note is to be continued on the next page. Can that be done as well?
