Vocabulary test

Post by Icelander »

I have just finished reading a long novel in Mellel. I assigned the color magenta to words and phrases that I am unfamiliar with.

How can I search for whole paragraphs (or sentences) in which such words appear? I need to get all these words in their proper context and then paste the paragraphs into a new document.

Can Mellel do this?

Manually, there is Edit\Markers\Find previous marked text (or next).

They can be used as filters too, but I don’t think you can have a “snapshot” of all occurrences in context at once.

Manually, there is Edit\Markers\Find previous marked text (or next).
This implies that unknown words and phrases be turned into bookmarks with markers to highlight and filter them in the Outline pane.

Thank you for your additional/alternative suggestion.
