Is it possible with phpBB?

Ori,

I wanted to bring this thread back from the dead. Yes, phpBB does indeed support RSS feeds. The nice people over at DevonTechnologies (http://www.devon-technologies.com/phpBB2/) have one for their forum (running on phpBB). This would be a very useful here on the Mellel boards.

I am coming back to my own initial post.

I just discovered the replies to my post, But I had a rule in place that buried the notification (not intentional.)

So yes Ori it is possible. I asked a question of phpBB several months ago as to the preferred method of implementing RSS.

Here is the reply I received:

Hello,

How do you install or activate syndication (RSS, Atom)

Thanks.

You first click on the "Mods" link above, then "Search". You put either "RSS" or "Atom" in the search text window, and click the search button. You select which MOD you want, download it, and follow the directions...

Okay,

I see, so it's not built in, I 'have' to a MOD to the system.

Thanks.
