Does anybody know why the system-wide services from Latexit won't work in mellel? it would be much easier to perform the LaTex to PDF conversion within Mellel, instead of switching between Mellel and Latexit all the time.

Still doesn't work with 2.2.5.1
I also don't understand why the LaTeXiT service doesn't work with Mellel. While it is not super-important (like cross-references), it would be handy.
I wonder if the LaTeXiT service is looking for straight ascii or something, and Mellel provides only formatted text?

Actually, I got a reply from the developer of LateXit in the meantime. I asked him:
"do you have any idea why Latexit service won't work in Mellel ?"
And this was his answer:
Actually, Yes. I have written to Mellel developers to ask the same question,
and they told me that it is because Mellel cannot take rich text from a service pasteboard. They also told me that they will fix it. I just do not know when !
