Some time ago, if I recall correctly, this was promised for Mellel. What I need (and others do as well) is a simple way to do columns on the page so that
A) the text flows from column a to b (or b to a, if Arabic or Hebrew) on the page, and goes from the end of b on page 1, to the top of a on page 2.
And B) the sort environment is the entire document, or selected section.
Word does this brilliantly, and it's on most other world processors. I'm surprised Mellel doesn't yet do it (unless it does, and I haven't found it). What this is SO useful for, among other things, is vocab lists, so you can insert, sort, and voila, a new vocab list. But it is also useful for many other things besides.
If, of course, this is possible now, PLEASE tell me how. If not, I hope Mellel will implement.
Thanks
Kevin
Feature Request: Newspaper columns

Quite right
Thanks for pointing this out. I had been looking for "columns" not "styles." This is the result of a sort of inflexiblity of mind as I transition from Word to Mellel.
BUT, this leads to another feature request. See post.
Thanks for the help, tho.
