But there is still no option for hyphenated expressions to be counted as a single term in the stats display.
Instead, I have to find and remove hyphens, jot down the word count, and quickly undo the find/remove before it is automatically saved.
Because this process involves an increased risk, or increased stuffing about by creating duplicate expendible files, I still have no accurate word count for the thesis I have just submitted.
Why, I wonder, is this such a problem when it doesn't need to be? Are hyphens really such an abomination?
