I just downloaded 2.7.1 via the Macupdate and the disk image that I got after unzipping is called mellel271b3.dmg

I would suggest changing that to mellel271.dmg

Hello,

I downloaded and installed Mellel 2.7.1 onto my PowerBook G4, running Mac OSX 10.4.11.

After opening a document of about 248 pages, using the "Go to page" button and entering "240" Mellel continues to crash.

I tried a smaller document of only 4 pages and it didn't crash, then I tried smaller page numbers in the first document and it didn't crash up to page no. 229. When I entered 230 or above it crashed again.

Any suggestions?

Please report crash directly to us. Please attach a crash report (the crash reports are located in ~/Library/Logs/Crash reporter/, there should be a file with "mellel" in its name)

The Release Notes page shows updates to 2.7.3??? I'm away from my computers that have the latest edition of Mr Mel, but are we moving to 2.7.1 or 2.7.3?

Ah, saw the spammer's second post, saw the 10/30 . . . but blanked on the '09. Thanks . . . something wasn't making sense, didn't get it was due to the "enthusiasm" from the spammer to share their good, good product with the Mr Mel set. . . . Reminds me of the "girls for writing" ??? spam from a few years ago . . . no??
