Re: Footnote position
Ori helped me with the solution. I made a table with invisible lines except for the vertical center line. I made a table with 2 columns and 4 rows. I placed the text into the cells and used the ruler for spacing from the center line. This gave me the ability to have Hebrew and Ge'ez on the right and...

Re: What's next for Mellel 3.4?
The ability to copy and paste with the right mouse click, into the Find and Replace windows. And double click to spell check in those windows too. Right now I have to cmd+c and cmd+v and live with no spell check there and this deters work traffic and causes more work. The ability to double click in ...

Footnote position
I have both Note flows and Footnote style set to bottom of Page.
I have a two column page and the left column has several section breaks on one page.
When I add a footnote, it positions at the bottom of the section where I inserted the footnote. I want it placed at the bottom of the page.
Help?

Yosemite 10.10
I just upgraded my OS to Yosemite 10.10.
This OS just solved all my spell checker problems. I went back to my oldest Mellel docs that would never spell check. I used check spelling in document, and the document completely spell checked.
Mellel v3.3 6b5 and Yosemite are a great combination.

Re: Search pane: A couple things I don't understand
I hear you Sam. For that matter, I have never used the Regex in the search pane. I agree that it would more convenient and less mouse miles to have the assigned names in the search pane. It seems that this would be a feature request.

Re: Tricky Find and Replace
I have them same situation in Hebrew. Yes I agree that you do this in two steps, or two separate cmd+F find and search commands. I save these so next I can use shift+cmd+F and use these together. Sometimes I use a character that will not affect the words like * to take the place of something I am go...
