Re: How Mellel has failed me
Why not just use MS Word? If this is the format you need at the end of the day, then why not just use MS Word?

examples of layout
Does anyone have any examples of what Mellel can do regarding layouts? I am curious to see if Mellel can replace Pages in the way that Pages allows easy drag and drop of layout elements. For example, in Pages you can create a text element and then drag it somewhere else and then lock it in place. Ju...

Re: Please help me with my header
The right page is what I'm having trouble with. I've put a reverse tab in the header paragraph style at the far right side (as well as obviously a centre tab) but the page number keeps dropping to the next line. Hello — did you try making a paragraph attribute? I don't know if this will work but yo...

Make first letter of sentence large (drop cap)
Is it possible to make the first letter of a sentence drop cap?
And then make the next sentence directly underneath the line without the space between; and have the next sentence start directly next to the big section of the letter?

Re: Fett, kursiv
Hello ozean, Yes, that helps a lot. Also, I am trying to understand character style variations. To my understanding - if I want to make a word bold then instead of pressing ⌘ + B I should go to the character palette and then chose the variation from the top (it took me a while to find that). Right? ...

Re: automatically change associated character styles
Thanks 4 the quick reply. There must be an issue because I had that already checked. I didn't think about it before but now that you mention it I checked and it was already set to "update document styles" I have a paragraph style set and the associated font is also created in the character...
