Re: Feature request: dark mode
Yes to dark mode! I would really love it if there was at least a dark template, but a full dark mode would be amazing. We spend hours writing theses and papers on this thing, it gets tiring for the eyes fast. I am one of those who have made my own dark template, but on a 21" screen, there's sti...

Re: Feature request: dark mode
Second dark mode! We're going to spend a lot of time on these huge documents, and by the end of my PhD I was so riddled with headaches from the white screen. Hoping to see it in the near future! At this point, I'm considering actually writing smaller text bits into Pages, and then pasting them into ...

Re: inserting page numbers
I have a slightly different version of this problem. I am using Chicago 16 B at the moment, for a specific mellel document. When I try to insert pages, they display in Mellel as "Hansen 2000124" (p124). My Formats manager in Bookends has got the : in the before range and nothing in the aft...

Bug: Mellel+Bookends hang when inserting more citations
I am from today experiencing a hang when I try to insert additional citations via Live bibliography - have to force quit both Bookends and Mellel. I have 604 citations. I tried to turn Live bibliography off and check if the document would scan - after 8 minutes it was still scanning. Is this normal?...

Mellel 3.3.7 bug
I just downloaded the update 3.3.7, and somehow, my thesis document lacks a large portion of the view. I am on Yosemite, linked with bookends and have a lot of citations, but my emergency version 3.3.1. does not do this, neither did 3.3.6. in Yosemite. I have not done anything to Bookends. The probl...

Re: Large padding/space above inline image
Yes! So easy, and so unbelievably logical. Thank you, Janet!

Re: Large padding/space above inline image
I manage this issue by setting "image causes wrap" to the fourth button, which does not cause the text to wrap. It has been like this since I started using Mellel. This works if you do not want text to wrap around your image, which you can't do anyway if you have a caption on the image. t...

Re: Large padding/space above inline image
I removed the image and inserted it somewhere else. There is the same gap between text and image that was in the pic in the link. The entire thing is Body style, which normally does not cause any issues. The gap cannot be selected and the cursor cannot be placed in the gap. It does not show up when ...

Re: Large padding/space above inline image
Thanks Janet. I should have specified that I am still on Mavericks. Fitting method is set to scale to fit. I attach a link to a screen dump of the image plus the "edit image" window. http://shares.mesolithic.org.uk/s#8f61bf9f-d664-455f-b763-ce15ce12da24/deltstoff.clouddrive.mesolithic.org....

Large padding/space above inline image
I have been using Mellel for around a year now, and am very happy with it and getting used to it for real. However, I just started inserting images into my thesis, and discovered that inline images come with about 5 extra lines of space (that is 1,5 spacing) above them. This is very annoying! The on...
