I use long footnotes which create large holes in the main text. Even though I checked that footnotes could be divided anywhere within. What I look for is a way to avoid those holes and spread one long footnote over two (or three) pages. There must be a setting to either reduce the maximum size of a ...

Slow writing under El Capitan

The upgrade to El Capitan went smooth for a while, but now writing is awfully slow. Its normal in other programs like now. And it is normal in mellel when using styles and such.
