I believe the best option would be to have Mellel ignore trailing spaces in centered text, but to respond to an option-space if the task necessitated it.

Set your writing direction for right to left text entry by toggling the icon on the ruler.

I would be very interested in having Spell Catcher's new DirectCorrect functionality in Mellel as well. Mellel is now my "word processor of choice" and I rarely turn to any other. I would be very appreciative if the developers would investigate the possibility of implementing DirectCorrect...

Mellel 2.5 is in beta 27 now. I'm not allowed to talk about it. Suffice to say - very impressed.

It has been released to the beta testing community. I've been using it for several days now and am very pleased.
